Super fun, creative mommy & me style classes at Vital Theatre! Innovative, research-based programs for infants, tots and kids. Susan’s classes are creative mixes of music, art, sensory and enrichment programming designed for each unique developmental stage. These are enrichment classes that support babies’ and children’s social emotional development and encourage the whole child.
 
"Music, Sense & Sign Language!"
*Babies: Ages 4 - 12 months
SESSION PRICE: $150

Interactive Music, Movement, Sensory Play and Enrichment – all in the perfect class, carefully designed just for babies! Class gets a fun twist with live music, drumming, baby dancing and disco bubbles! Plus real ASL Sign Language to enhance infant’s language development.
Sign language can also help reduce babies' frustration, as they are able to communicate their needs.

"Rockin’ Art, Music & Moves! "
*Kids: Ages 1 – 3 years
SESSION PRICE: $150

Energetic, Interactive, Live Music for kids - with Drumming, Instruments and Movement, plus ART! Kids love the mix of hands-on, Messy and Creative Art. Disco Bubbles, Parachute & Dancing keep kids busy and active! A great combination class with a super-creative mix of enrichment, social development and lots of fun for kids.

"VITAL'S BROADWAY STARS"
*Kids: Ages 2 – 3 years
TUITION : $400

Sing, move and play percussion instruments while learning new songs, meeting new friends and sharing the joy of music. This class introduces the basic elements of music (beat, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, pitch, etc.) through movement games, stories, and songs that help lay the musical foundation and introduction to the Musical Theatre. Classes are friendly, full of laughter and discovery.By providing early childhood developmentally appropriate music experiences for young children and their families, we facilitate the musical growth of every child through listening, singing, movement games. These experiences lay the groundwork for continued study and provide a source for lifelong enjoyment of music.
The final class is open to family and friends.

With Susan Izatt Levinson

Susan Izatt Levinson is an infant specialist and early childhood teaching artist who brings a wide range of experience, knowledge, expertise and creativity to her Baby and Kids classes. She also loves to teach, and knows how to have fun with and engage kids! NYC families know Susan from the former MoonSoup Early Childhood Center, where she was the Director of Early Childhood and lead teacher. Before that Susan was the Director of Early Childhood at Aha Play Partners, an innovative Reggio Inspired research based program in NYC; The Director of Classrooms and Teacher Training at Early Learning Concepts, for NYC, DC, VA; A lead teacher and teacher trainer for Gymboree; She is also a licensed Kindermusic Educator; A certified Infant Massage instructor; And a certified Children's Yoga instructor through Karma Kids Yoga. Susan has also taught many after school theatre and arts education programs in NYC; Susan has also written several articles on parenting and child development, and creative activities and education for babies and children for various parenting web sites (Mommy Bites, Mommy Poppins, Family Network, Queens Mammas, etc): has given parenting talks at the Y and other NYC venues. Susan is also a singer, musician and artist who believes that music, creativity and play are all essentials in children's early education and development. Susan double majored in Early Childhood Education and Performance Arts at SUNY. Susan is also a member of The National Association for the Education of Young Children.
