ABOUT THE SHOW

What could be fancier than Christmas? Presents with elegant wrapping paper, festive decorations, Christmas cookies with sprinkles - and who could forget the tree? After all, there is no such thing as too much tinsel. Ooh la la! This year, Nancy is especially excited. After selling some of her old gowns and accessories, Nancy has enough money to buy a brand-new sparkly tree topper. She can't wait to decorate the Christmas tree. But when things don't turn out the way Nancy planned, will Christmas still be splendiferous?

Hailey Schnitzius Mogul (Nancy Clancy) is so excited to be making her Off-Broadway debut with Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas! She recently graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of California, Irvine. Favorite credits include Anna in Spring Awakening (Ray of Light Theatre), Agnes in Gypsy (The GEM Theatre), and Olive in Spelling Bee. Nicholas Cooper (Mrs. Devine/Grandpa) is thrilled to be making his Off-Broadway debut in Fancy Nancy! He graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Tampa and is based in New York. Recent credits include: Georg Nowack (She Loves Me), Luther Billis (South Pacific), Sheldon Saperstein (The Prom) and Mac (Annie Get Your Gun) as well as directing credits including West Side Story and Anything Goes. Danielle Burman (JoJo Clancy) is thrilled to make her Off-Broadway debut with Fancy Nancy Splediferous Christmas! CREATIVES

Michael Schloegl (Director) is one of the founding members of Vital Theatre Company. His original show, Three Bears and A Babe, started the first Vital childrens theatre season. He works regionally and internationally as a director-choreographer (Chicago, Footloose, Grease, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia!, Nunsense 2) Michael is also a costume designer, playwright, and a childrens book author/illustrator. His original writing credits include: Its Up In the Air!, Calling All Toys, The Chrismouse Story and the school musical touring show, History Time Henry. He has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe in shows such as: West Side Story, Oklahoma, The Will Rogers Follies, and A Chorus Line. As a theatre educator, he directs musical theatre shows and master classes for students throughout the New York tri state area and Canada.

Catheryn Hooper (Stage Manager) just returned from two years at sea with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Catheryn is delighted to be making her debut with the Vital Theatre Company. A few of her favorite credits include: (off-broadway) the world premiere of Stranger Sings! A Parody Musical, Bonkers in the Boroughs, A Christmas Carol (regionally) Gentlemans Guide, Addams Family, Newsies, A Little Night Music (touring) Rapunzel, The Little Mermaid. Much love to her partner, James, for his support from across the world.
